While we celebrated our Nation's independence and founding this 4th of July, America is under merciless assault unlike any other faced since the Civil War. Unfortunately it seems the greatest thrust of this assault is from within our borders. This is due to America's slide from its traditional Christian-Judeo moorings. As citizens we are about to witness the most vicious and ferocious battle in this assault. The location: Washington D.C., more specifically the halls of Congress after the July 4th recess. There is a common premise right now the Democrats are going to be decimated on November 2nd. That said, a major legislative push will occur while super majorities in Congress still exist with our President ever so eager to sign into law any bill that will advance an agenda. Question, are we going to show up to fight this battle? There are numerous pieces of legislation we HAVE to sound off on to our ELECTED representatives during this crucial period that could permanently alter the course of our great Nation. The most prominent of these are the following: •    Any spending bills or legislation that will either add to our 13 trillion dollar national debt or raise our taxes.  Our debt is a national security issue! Here is one example of how the Federal Government is spending our hard earned tax dollars or has spent borrowed funds from other nations. The National Institutes of Health just authorized 1.44 million in funding for an international medical study about how the health of deviant, promiscuous male homosexual prostitutes in Vietnam is affected by their lifestyle. We have to stop this! •    The possible passage of S.3280 (Department of Defense authorization bill) will allow homosexuality in our armed forces and abortion in military medical facilities. This is a concerted effort to erode our military's effectiveness and use the military as a vehicle to normalize homosexuality. Call and tell your senators to vote against any "motion to proceed" to allow this bill to go to the floor for debate. This is another threat to our national security. •    The nomination of Elena Kagan as a justice to the U.S. Supreme Court. As I've written previously, a justice serves on average 35 to 40 years on the bench. As confirmed from the first three days of questioning during Kagan's nomination hearing, most of her answers were very ambiguous. She clearly is a political activist with absolutely no experience serving as a judge let alone as a lawyer. Her views are very dangerous to our Nation. Tell your U.S. Senators to vote against her confirmation or support a filibuster effort to stop her confirmation.      We do need to support representatives who are fighting for traditional Christian-Judeo values. Two such representatives are Representative Steve King (R-Iowa) and Representative Wally Herger (R-Calif.). These representatives have both introduced bills to repeal the health care law. Both bills each require 218 petition signatures from their fellow representatives to force a vote on the House floor. I encourage everyone reading this article to call your ELECTED representative and tell them to sign both petitions. These representatives and several others like them need our support to stave off possible tyranny.
